Honours Project, RMIT (2023)
Produced a framework for designers to understand AI tools and how they can engage with them as part of their design process. The framework focused on legal, social and technical dimensions of how AI technologies can shape industry.
Tasks undertaken:
- Conducted independent research into the governance of artificial intelligence and its broader societal implications.
- Engaged with experts across law, neuroscience, and design to develop evidence-based insights.
- Produced and presented findings to academic, industry, and public stakeholders.
Key learnings:
- Strengthened ability to translate complex technical research into strategic and future oriented recommendations.
- Learned how to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, tailoring communications to diverse interests.
- Gained experience in evidence-based analysis of energing technologies.
